i made this "peppermint" soap last night and i am really chuffed with it ! Made from Olive oil, Coconut Oil, Palm Oil and Castor Oil and scented with peppermint (obviously), clary sage and Rosemary mmmmmmmmmmm it smells lush

oooooooo i just love this one it's my Avocado soap ! it feels so lovely on the skin and gives off huge lovely bubbles !

And this is my "Rose" soap, although the scent seems to have vanished now so i'm gonna have to re-think this one it's made with olive oil, coconut oil, palm oil and shea butter. And the lush pink swirlly type thing is made with pink clay and was scented with rose essential oil !

These are lavender cubes i made ages ago i'm just a but hopeless as it takes me months to get them on here ! The cubes are made with lavender infused water and olive oil,coconut oil, palm oil and shea butter oooooooo and lavender essential oil !

Made a new soap yesterday, first one in about 4 months and i'm sooooooooo pleased with it !
I've not attempted to layer soap before so i was a little unsure on what i was doing but it turned out fab, i'll put some piccies on here tomorrow as i've got no idea in the world how to do it as the piccies are on my mobile, where's your hubby when you need him !

Hee Heee heeeeee i made soap again.

This is my favouritist soap at the mo ! Just tried it tonight and it's gorgeous, loads and loads of lovely creamy bubbles. I've used olive oil, Coconut Oil, Avocado oil & Palm oil in this soap with oatmeal addded at the end !

Red Palm & Canola oil Soap

This is an experiment soap really as i found the oil in the supermarket and thought why not give it a go ! It is a gorgeous orange colour, with calendula petals sprinkled on one side the other half i left plain, i have not scented this soap !

i'm gonna take it from its mould tomorrow afternoon i'll post some more piccies then !

I was planning on waiting until the weekend but i just couldn't help myself ! I'm so addicted . . . i know it's sad ! I made it my 3rd soap . . . "lavender "!
Its smells and looks gorgeous ! It's all wrapped up at the mo. may take a bit of a peak later on just to see how its doing hee hee !

This is my "lavender" soap which i'm now calling "mouse poo" soap as thats what it looks like !
Unfortunately i had not realised that lavender flowers react with lye which turns them into little brown looking things resembling mouse poo ! So there you go . . . . still smells lush tho.

shea/mango soaping trip !

well today i'm off on another adventure ! I'm preparing myself to make a shea/ mango butter soap, i've been planning this all week so i'm only kinda excited hee hee . . . I've got my huge apron on and my rubber gloves . . . well here i go !!!!!

Scrubbie all over bars !!

I made some exfoliating bars tonight, just like the ones lush do !!
they smell absolutely lush (hee hee) i can't wait to try one !!!!!!
once again i have got piccies but my hubbie has lost the camera cable so will post them soon !!

After alot of ummming and arghing i finally decided it was time to let go of my fear of lye and attempted my first batch of soap !

It went well i was very organised and had all of my ingredients weighed out ready to go and my book to hand from which i had taken my recipe ! But oops my thermometer exploded when i put it in the lye solution to check its temp ! so my drains got a good cleaning as i had to throw the solution away and start a new pot . . . decided to leave the solution outside to cool covered over of course . . . and then an hour later i added it to my oils, trace happened really quickly as i used a stick blender to mix it up, i poured it into my mould and wrapped it up, then shouted at the top of my voice . . .

" eeeeeeeeeeeee i've just made some soap " i also did a little jig hee hee i know i'm odd !
